Notes - Ferdinand was a banker. He committed suicide because, it is believed, he thought he had lost all his money..but in fact he was mistaken. The information about his death from the Vienna Jewish archives says that he died in a Vienna hotel with apoplexy.
Date of marriage from Vienna Jewish archives...and marr. reg.
Ferdinand apparently had 1 sister (name ). [update -- have found name of his sister].
In his obit (1899), it says that his mother Charlotte is still alive. See notes under Sara Lotte Bondi.
Update (June 2003) -- according to correspondence with Celia Male who is searching for info on Peter Drucker on behalf of someone writing a biography of him and trying to learn about his Jewish heritage), She translated part of the marr. reg of Ferdinand Bondi: It says that Dr. Ignaz Abell and Julius Abell, brothers of Ferdinand's mother Lotte, werre involved in the legalities for the wedding -- and that Dr. Ignaz Abell was a signatory in lieu of the groom's father (Herz Bondi -- who was no longer alive).
