  Information from Magistrat der Stadt Wien - 1996 - says: Dr. Stefan Fried Born 6.3.1911 in Vienna. Lawyer/Law student. Jewish. Married Wife: Hetty Elias. Born 30.10.1912 Registered on 22.3.1938 -- address is 19, Scheibengasse 29 and states going to Holland Marilyn told me that he died abt 1988. Talked to Marilyn in August 2004 -- mentioned that I couldn't find Stefan or Hetty in 1837 online.com. She told me that In England he changed his name to Stephan Freid. With this new info (i.e., spelling of both first and last name) I was able to find his death year in 1837online.com: he died in 1988 in London. Also found his wife there -- she died in 1987. That web site doesn't give exact dates -- but his death was registered in May of 1988 (so it was around then). Her death was registered in November of 1987, so about then. Says Hetty's middle name is Therese.
