    • - Evidenced the manifest of SS Southwark departed Holland and Belgium - arrived New York 27th Feb 1901 with passenger Albert Loewenstein age 28 years, resident of Langendernbach. On the manifest it states under whether going to join a relative "Uncle Herman Loewenstein".

      - Evidenced 1917-1918 World War 1 Registration Card showing Albert Loewenstein dob 3 Jan 1873 having the occupation of butcher, residing at 500 W 124 St, New York and wife shown as Rose.

      - Evidenced a US Passport application (applied for on 12 Jul 1923 and issued 23 Jun 1923) clearly showing Albert Lowenstein dob 3 Jan 1873 in Germany, son of Jacob Lowenstein (deceased) living at 500 West 124 Street, New York, having resided without interruption for 23 years in the US and having been naturalised before the Supreme Court of the State of New York on 18 Jul 1911, applies for a US Passport for the intention of visiting "relatives in Germany" and "sight seeing in Switzerland" and intending to depart the port of New York on board the Westphalia on 12 Jul 1923 (the day of the application!).
