      Our family moved from Weyer to Camberg (now Bad Camberg) in 1932 . We emigrated to the US in May 1940 from Genoa, Italy aboard the SS Manhattan, shortly before Italy entered WWII. The remaining jewish population in our hometown Camberg were all deported in July 1942.

      Earned a degree in electrical engineering from City College, New York and a master's degree in electrical engineering from New York University. Harry worked for the Department of Environmental Protection for New York City monitoring potable water for 30 years.
