Notes - An artist and painter. She studied at the Slade School of Fine Art, London (1924-8) and started working for the art dealer Frederick Lessore whom she later married. After his death in 1951 she took over his West End Gallery, the Beaux Arts Gallery in Bruton Place, London where she remained director until 1965. In 1958 she was made an OBE for her services to fine arts.
